My Vanishing Country

My Vanishing Country

Bakari Sellers' memoir is one of the best books that I've read in a long time. I've had the privilege to get to know Bakari and his family during this quarantine. As the son of civil rights leader Cleveland Sellers, who was injured during the Orangeburg Massacre of 1968, Bakari was imbued with an activist spirit early on. After graduating from Morehouse College and the USC School of Law, he won a seat in the South Carolina House of Representatives at age 22, becoming the youngest African American elected official in the country. His memoir is a beautiful story about family, service, and hope.

From now until Father's Day, we will include a copy of this book with every purchase. If you'd like to get the book, you can find it here.

Hello.. I hope you are well. I love your Dawn blouse. I sold out of them and want to order more, but my pop-up store has been in lockdown since March; I don’t know when we will open or if my fall boutique events will take place. I will have to order fall-winter later than usual and hope that your blouses will be available! Stay well.
