I was recently connected to Tiffany, the founder and designer of Nahall, an exceptional and accessible handbag company. Tiffany had been contemplating the idea of starting her own collection for around 10 years when she finally took the leap last September, just after the birth of her first child.
When asked how she came up with the name of her company, she said that Nahall means little plant in Persian. In addition to Nahall being her middle name, she considers the company to be her own little plant that she nourishes and grows. Tiffany sources luxurious materials and meticulously refines each design until she has achieved perfection.
As an entrepreneur, Tiffany advises others to say yes as often as you can. You never know what opportunities will present other opportunities. Since she started her business, she believes that she’s said yes to 99% of the invitations that she had received, including this interview. And she has no regrets.
You can find her bags at www.nahallny.com or at FIVESTORY in New York City, Southampton, Palm Beach, Amara in Stamford, Well Heeled in Stowe, and Boutique 811 in Franklin Lakes.
